Membership Options
Membership is welcome from anyone worldwide. If you live overseas an extra fee is charged to cover the additional postage costs of your Club Magazine the Birman Mews. Membership Applications are subject to formal approval by the Committee and you abiding by the Rules and Objects of the Club.
Single
One Individual Member
Joint
Two members living at the same address.
Family
A family membership must comprise two members in a married or defacto relationship and up to two children living at the same address.
Associate
Joins specifically to show at a Birman Show. Not entitled to vote, take home trophies or receive the quarterly Birman Cat Club magazine, the Birman Mews.
Annual Subscription
Unless otherwise stated subscriptions are for a 12 month period and/or until the end of the Clubs financial year 30 September whichever is the earlier. See Rules and Objects for variances to this including if you join after 1 July.
Fees are due 1 October annually. You have up until 30 November in that membership year to pay. Membership lapses if fees are unpaid after 30 November. Membership renewal forms are sent out with the Birman Mews - Winter Issue. If you have misplaced your form go here.
